Beginners Courses

Here you will find all the information you will need to get you started in Capoeira with our 8 week beginners course.

Beginners courses run every week at the following locations:

Chelmsford - Create Dance Studio, Unit 8, Eckersley Road Industrial Estate, Chelmsford, Essex, CM1 1SL
Southend on Sea – Fitness First, Victoria Avenue – Every Saturday 12.00 – 13.30
Whitechapel, London E1 – Brady Arts & Community Centre, Hanbury Street, E1 – Every Monday & Wednesday 19.00 – 20.30

The price of the beginners course is £40 which runs for 8 weeks and includes capoeira classes and rodas.

This course is for a period of 8 consecutive weeks.
No Refunds for the Beginners Course.
The Beginners Course must be completed during one full course, in 8 consecutive weeks.
No membership fee is required after the Beginners Course is completed.
You are not required to purchase a uniform during the Beginners Course.

Wear Comfortable clothing (clothing which you would wear to a gym).
Most students train in bare feet but if you choose to wear trainers please make sure they are light and low soles.
Bring your own water, in some cases you may be able to purchase them at the training centre.
Most locations have a suitable place for changing clothes.
Arrive 5 mins before the course commences.
Every time you attend your class please sign in.

Once the Beginners Course is complete, you will be required to purchase the group uniform if you wish to continue with Grupo Capoeira Brasil.
The cost of the uniform is £45 and includes pants, a t-shirt and your belt.
Membership & insurance £15 annually.
After the course is complete, the payments for your Capoeira classes can be made casually (£10 per class) or monthly (£60 monthly freedom class, train as many times as you like)
